I dont have the words to describe this chapter. Nothing special for chapter 600? No, instead we get a 10 page (of the 18 story pages) of FUCKING FLASHBACKS. Just wow. But there is one interesting line in obito's text. "Wether or not I survived is irrelevant". So.. is he even human? Come to think of it, between kakashi gaiden and the attack of the 9-tailed fox, there was roughly, what? maybe 2-3 years? During the attack the ninja of kakashi's generation were still not experience enough to join the fight, so he couldn't have been gone for THAT long, yet he was suddenly able to go toe-to-toe with (at the time) perhaps the most legendary ninja of that era. So...
let me just put a long thought into a shorter one: I still have a (tiny) hope that somewhere along the lines of horrible, horrible plot twists, there will actually be that one shiny golden revelation that shows a shimmer of brilliance in it. Or is that too much to ask kishi?!
Bleach: pretty much a meh episode compared to the previous few. But, a buildup episode is still required every now and then.
